Joy Wahawisan, Director of Pharmacy, Commercial and Individual Programs

As Director of Pharmacy at Priority Health, Joy works on behalf of internal and external clients to navigate the changing landscape of pharmacy plan design, track emerging trends in the market, and facilitate the implementation of clinical initiatives. Through a comprehensive understanding of the drug development pipeline and expertise in pharmacy disruptors, Joy works to identify and leverage novel strategies to support Priority Health in providing cost-effective health care.

Joy earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas at Austin and has held Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Midwest Affiliate of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and as a member of the AMCP Finance Committee.













Joan Lievan, PharmD 

Joan Lievan, PharmD, is a pharmacy leader with more than 15 years of experience spanning pharmacy benefit management, clinical strategy, and retail pharmacy operations. She currently serves as Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services at ProCare Rx, where she provides strategic clinical leadership in the development of customized pharmacy benefit solutions designed to improve patient outcomes while supporting responsible healthcare spending.


In her current role, Joan specializes in clinical strategy, custom formulary development, utilization management, and clinical cost-containment. Prior to transitioning into pharmacy benefit management, Joan built an extensive leadership career in retail pharmacy. She provided operational and clinical leadership 


Joan earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences and her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan. She is a licensed pharmacist in Michigan and a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP).

Throughout her career, Joan has focused on connecting clinical evidence, operational execution, and business strategy to develop pharmacy solutions that create meaningful value for patients, clients, and organizations.












Matt Colvin, Pharm. D. - Manager, Pharmacy Account Management

BCBSM & Blue Care Network

Matt is a Doctor of Pharmacy with over 10 years of experience in the managed care industry. Currently, he oversees the Pharmacy Account Management team of pharmacists that support Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network’s Commercial group customers in managing their prescription drug benefits. Matt also has experience with State and Federal government programs. Matt’s clinical background includes inpatient medical and surgical intensive care settings as well as oncology.













Natalie Pirkola, Pharm.D., MBA, MASPHM, MSIS

VP, Clinical Strategy and Population Health

Natalie has over 15 years of experience working with providers, employers, and plans to enhance population health through effective and efficient medical and pharmacy services. Natalie leads the clinical strategy for health plan benefits and programs, as well as quality measurement and improvement for Health Alliance Plan. Natalie received her PharmD from Wayne State University, MBA with a concentration in health care leadership from Oakland University, Master of Applied Science in Population Health Management from Johns Hopkins, and Master of Information Systems with a concentration in health informatics from Northwestern University. As a certified informaticist, Natalie maintains additional board certifications in geriatrics, ambulatory care, case management, diabetes education, and asthma patient education.
