Ensure Michigan policy recognizes the essential role agents and brokers play in helping businesses, families, and individuals navigate complex health insurance decisions and access appropriate coverage.
Continuing Education Credit for Professional Association Membership
Support legislation allowing up to four CE credits for membership in a professional insurance association to count toward the 24 credits required for a producer license (SB 133 / HB 4178).
Hospital Price Transparency
Support policies requiring hospitals to clearly publish prices for services so consumers can compare costs and make informed healthcare decisions.

Support legislation such as the Patients Deserve Price Tags Act (S.2355 / H.R.5582) to require standardized, enforceable reporting of healthcare prices across providers and insurers, giving employers and consumers meaningful access to cost data.

Work with Congress to address affordability challenges in the ACA marketplace and prevent coverage losses while ensuring consumers continue to have access to independent agents and brokers for enrollment support.
