Consumer Resources
For Michiganders
Michigan's licensed health insurance professionals help individuals and families understand their coverage options, compare plans, determine eligibility for financial assistance, and select coverage that fits their needs and budget.
Whether you're exploring coverage for the first time, experiencing a life change, or simply reviewing your options, a local agent can provide personalized guidance and ongoing support before, during, and after enrollment.
Open Enrollment for 2026 health insurance ran from November 1, 2025 through January 15, 2026.
Consumers who missed the January 15 deadline may still qualify for a Special Enrollment Period if they experience a qualifying life event, such as the birth of a child, loss of employer-sponsored coverage, marriage, divorce, or a move. In addition, Michiganders who qualify for Medicaid or MIChild may apply at any time.
Your local NABIP Michigan agent can help you understand your eligibility, review available coverage options, assist with applications, and answer questions about how your benefits work. They can also help you determine whether you may qualify for financial assistance through the Marketplace.
To explore your options and connect with assistance, use our Find an Agent tool to speak with a licensed health insurance professional in your area.
